Our People team has seen amazing growth in the last 12 months. We are broken up into Human Resources, which has HR Business Partners, People Operations and People Engagement, and then we also have Recruitment which has Recruitment, Recruiting Operations, and Employer Branding.
Calendly strives to create an inclusive culture of belonging, where our people foster a diverse workplace where everyone is welcomed, valued, respected, and heard. What we are doing to enable this is constantly evolving but our goal is to always be intentional and make ongoing progress. This is a journey and we are focused on efforts spanning across our recruiting strategies, engagement activities, and talent management processes including pay and career advancement.
Calendly has put a great deal of thought into our remote-first culture. We have set up "The Way We Work" which encourages limits around meeting hours to accommodate for our team members in different time zones, implementing working hours in Slack to disable notifications during off-hours, and offering flexible time off for our team members to take time off when needed to refresh and recharge. The People Team has dedicated People Partners to work with employees and is building an internal communications hub so employees can always know the latest. To ensure our people get the time they need to build relationships with each other, there will be ongoing opportunities for teams to connect both company-wide and within their departments. Calendly also offers the opportunity to work and collaborate in a co-work location should employees want to enjoy an office environment. These are just some of the things Calendly is doing in order to build a one-of-a-kind remote culture!
I have spent my recruitment career in the high-tech space and have 20 years of experience in recruiting both in-house and agency side. When I am not recruiting I spend my time being a mom to my 5 amazing kids.
I have been recruiting for over 6 years, and have recruited for almost every position you can think of. Outside of work I love playing the drums and spending time with my dog I adopted during the pandemic.
I have over 8 years of recruiting experience. When I’m not on the job, I love hanging with my extremely large dog and smallish cat, staying up-to-date on all platforms of binge-worthy television and indulging my love for seeing new places.
In my spare time I am a mom of two boys and spend most of my time on the playground or engrossed in Legos and Hot Wheels.
